Programs That Help Families Heal and Thrive
The Will Trippley Foundation offers free programs throughout the year that support children and families as they navigate the emotional impact of loss and begin to rebuild. From a summer camp and expressive arts to in-person and virtual counseling, our core services are always offered at no cost. We also proudly partner with Healthy Kids Running Series to promote physical wellness and confidence through a low-cost, community-based race program.
Our goal is simple: to create safe, inclusive spaces where healing begins and hope is restored.
Our Programs
-
Camp Encouragement
Camp Encouragement is a free, three-week summer camp for children ages 7–12 who have experienced loss. Through counseling, creative expression, sensory-based activities, and peer connection, campers build resilience, discover new strengths, and experience the joy of healing in a nurturing environment.
-
Jovonne’s Healing Center
Jovonne’s Healing Center is a free grief and loss support program offering in-person sessions for children during the school year and virtual support groups for adults throughout the year. Focused on helping families process a wide range of losses, the program creates safe, compassionate spaces where healing and connection can begin.
-
Healing Connections
Healing Connections is a free, creative arts-based program that helps children express their feelings when words are hard to find. For kids who may not feel ready or comfortable in a formal counseling setting, Healing Connections offers an approachable, hands-on way to process grief through art, movement, and journaling. These sessions create a calming space where children feel seen, supported, and empowered on their path toward healing.

Healthy Kids Running Series
As a proud community partner of Healthy Kids Running Series, we help bring this inclusive, five-week race program to children in Chester and surrounding areas. Open to kids of all abilities, the series promotes physical health, confidence, and community spirit—encouraging children to stay active, believe in themselves, and have fun along the way.
